All medical professionals to work in Dubai must obtain their license through the MOH (Ministry of Health). The procedure involves certificate verifications, exams, and Ministry approvals. Doctors must obtain specific licenses depending on whether they are specialists, general practitioners, resident doctors, or consultants. Similarly, dentists must acquire special licenses depending on whether they are general dentists or specialists. Also, all allied health can get a MOH license. The license is valid in Fujairah, Ras al Khaimah, Sharjah, Umm al Quwain, Ajman, and other northern emirates in UAE except Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
